Experience the unique landscapes and rich heritage of Cappadocia on a multi-day journey from Kalkan, combining scenic travel, cultural discovery and the option to stay in boutique cave hotels or enjoy a hot air balloon ride.

Day 1 – Journey to Cappadocia

Your journey begins with a morning departure from Kalkan, travelling inland towards Cappadocia. The day is dedicated to the scenic drive, with comfort stops along the way, before arriving at your hotel.

Day 2 – Fairy Chimneys & Göreme

Begin your first full day in Cappadocia with a guided exploration of its most iconic sites. Visit Devrent Valley and Pashabagi, known for their unique rock formations. Continue to the Göreme Open Air Museum, home to remarkable rock-cut churches and early Christian settlements, followed by a visit to Uçhisar before returning to your hotel.

Day 3 – Rose Valley & Underground City

Explore Rose Valley, known for its rock-cut churches and scenic walking routes near Çavuşin. Continue to Çavuşin village, followed by a visit to Pigeon Valley and the underground city of Kaymaklı Underground City. After the tour, return to your hotel for a final evening in Cappadocia.

Day 4 – Return to Kalkan

After breakfast, you will leave Cappadocia and begin the return journey to Kalkan. Travel is via Konya, with the option to stop and visit the Mevlana Museum, one of Turkey’s most important cultural and spiritual landmarks, or extend your stay with an additional overnight stay in Konya.

A hot air balloon ride can be arranged during your stay in Cappadocia, subject to availability and weather conditions. This is a sample itinerary and can be tailored to suit your preferences. Additional activities can be arranged during your stay, and accommodation options — including a selection of boutique cave hotels — are available on request. Tours can be organised either privately or as part of a small group.
