One of the most engaging ways to explore the Kekova region is by sea kayak, offering a closer connection to both nature and history.
The day begins with a short transfer to Üçağız, where a full safety briefing and basic training session are provided. No previous experience is required.
Once on the water, you will begin paddling along the coastline, gradually making your way towards Kekova. The route includes a stop at Tersane Bay for a swimming break before continuing over the famous Sunken City — an extraordinary Lycian site visible beneath the clear waters.
The pace remains relaxed, allowing you to fully enjoy the surroundings as you paddle towards Simena, a village accessible only by sea. There will be time to stop for lunch and, if you wish, walk up to the castle for panoramic views over the bay.
In the afternoon, the route continues with further exploration of the coastline before returning to Üçağız, followed by the transfer back.
This experience combines light activity with unique scenery and historical interest, making it an enjoyable alternative to exploring Kekova by boat.
